Getting Rid of Fat - 3 Ways to Start Looking Sexy

You are about to discover how getting rid of fat can be easy without having to use some sort of crazy fad diet or the latest infomercial abdominal gadget. Getting rid of fat does not have to be a huge challenge, but it certainly can feel that way if you are not optimizing your nutrition and workouts accordingly.

Getting Rid of Fat the Easy Way

Tip #1 - Avoid diets that are sold as a quick and easy fix

This basically refers to a "crash diet", which essentially means that you are trying to starve yourself to the point that you burn extra fat. Many people try to eat only one meal a day and try to do this based on sheer will power. This type of diet will only cause you to gain more weight in the long run. It will put your body into starvation mode and will tremendously slow down your metabolism and contribute to losing muscle mass.

Don't use a this type of extreme diet. Try to eat 5-6 smaller meals each day. This keeps you full, prevents spikes in your blood sugar, and helps to keep your metabolic rate high. Consuming high quality protein (such as chicken, salmon, turkey, tuna etc) will help you get rid of fat because these foods use a lot of energy during digestion and will help you maintain your current level of muscle mass.

Fruits and vegetables are also foods that are packed with vitamins and minerals. They have a high nutritional value and are not calorie dense foods, which means you can eat more and still be taking in fewer calories.

Tip #2 - Really push yourself when you workout!

If you do intense workouts as opposed to workouts where you never leave your comfort zone, then you will be on the right track to getting rid of fat. Exercising with a lot of intensity gets your metabolism going and it will keep it elevated so you keep burning calories long after you are finished working out.

Try the following exercises, doing as many as you can in 10 minutes. You will feel a huge difference between the intensity of this vs. your old workouts.

Here is a workout to try:

10 split squats (each side)

10 sit ups

15 stability ball pushups

Each time you complete the above exercises (with the exact number of reps and in the same order)

Tip #3 - Try using interval training in place of your current cardio routine

Interval training helps you with getting rid of fat because it will help to boost your metabolism for hours after you are finished exercising. Intense interval training is different from slow cardio because it alternates back and forth between high and low intensities with set periods of time (ex. 90 seconds slow, 30 seconds very fast, then repeat). The high intensity periods of interval training is what will really boost your metabolism and you will feel like you got a better workout with 20 minutes of interval training vs. 60 minutes of slow cardio.

The 21st Century 6 Pack Abs Training workouts will show you how to get a flat stomach without ever having again having to do any boring crunches or sit ups.
